Summer’s great but NYC heat can be too much. This summer, water’s your best friend. We’ve compiled our favorite pools to lounge. From Americano’s rooftop pool for views to MPHC’s 75 ft pool for uninterrupted lounging, we’ve got you covered!



1: Vale Pool at the William Vale Hotel

This pool is what summer dreams are made of. For $150 you get to lounge by or take a dip a 60 ft. rooftop pool which also happens to have an amazing NYC skyline view.



2: Mr. Purple




An instagramers dream pool, Mr Purple has great views of the NYC skyline and a must-try menu. Day passes are available.



3: McCarren Hotel and Pool




This chic hotel pool is known for it’s great ambiance and drinks. It’s Brooklyn’s favorite summertime spot so you’ll need to book a day pass 48hrs prior for $65 weekend and $55 weekday.



4: Gansevoort  Meatpacking



Take a dip, sip a cocktail while watching the sunset in Gansevoort’s heated pool. For $125 you get a pool bed, complimentary towels, fruit, and a $75 food/beverage credit.



5: La Piscine at Hotel Americano




The views of Manhattan and the Hudson river from this Chelsea 11 story rooftop pool are worth the $40 daypass. You can also you can access the pool and daybeds from 5pm to 1am daily for free ofcourse after the waiting line.



6: Le Parker Meridien



If you’re looking for that outdoor ambiance without the heat, this is your spot. With it’s ceiling to floor windows, you can take in Central Park’s Lush green while enjoying bites and drinks for a $150 day pass.


7: Atrium Pool at MPHC




Lounging is great but if you’d like to do more than that MPHC’s has a 75 ft. pool. Even more awesome, the pool has a retractable roof and lush tropical plants to give you that vacation feel. Daypass goes for $35 weekday and $40 weekend.
