Winter Juice Recipes To Combat The Cold 


Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean we should stop juicing! Here are some delicious juice recipes using ingredients you can find during the winter. A few couple tips to start: Start your day with a little warm water and lemon juice to warm your body and kick start your metabolism. Take your fruits and vegetables out of the fridge for a few hours before juicing or blending. This way they’ll be room temperature and your drink will be too.

ABC Juice   

This is a great juice for getitng your body ready before flu season. The ginger helps with any sore throat issues, while the beets, apples, and large carrots give you the vitamins to replenish any lost energy and cells. The spinach and kale helps build up immunity.

1 red apple

2 beets (golden or red)

3 large carrots

1 (1-inch) piece of ginger

Spinach or kale (optional)



Celery Based Juice   

Celery is a great winter vegetable as it has a longer seasonality and can store for longer. It also contains a lot of vitamin E which is great for vitality. Add fuji apples to sweeten.

5 Handfuls of Spinach
3 Kale Leaves
3 Celery Stalks
½ Cucumber
½ Lemon
2 Fuji Apples



Immune-boosting juice   

For a creamy green juice add a couple slices of avocado in the blender. This juice is flavorful, and packed with vitamins to help build up your immune system.

Handful of spinach leaves

1 slice of cucumber

1 slice of lime

Half a celery stick

¼ pineapple

¼ avocado



Winter Root Juice   

For a heartier juice try using a couple root vegetables. Carrots, sweet potato, parsnip, make a delicious thick juice that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.
